When the Hōlōs Journal was first imagined, it was meant to go beyond a typical disposable planner. I imagined it becoming a comprehensive life kit you would take everywhere. Especially when traveling, I am not in favor of exposed rings or discs, so from the beginning, I knew I wanted a high-quality, durable, but also beautiful cover to wrap around and securely hold the Hōlōs Journal. I also wanted it to be functional, with enough low-profile storage to easily carry any extra essentials you need with you on the go.

Since the Hōlōs Journal is something that can be used year after year, the cover needed to be durable and classy enough to also use for many years to come. I wanted it to be just as thoughtfully and intentionally created as the contents it held. It needed to be something that could safely carry your dreams and wildest ambitions, while keeping you organized, grounded, and accompanying you through all the many shifting seasons of life.

After testing dozens of samples and sketching countless iterations, the result is something I’m proud to share. Through the work of skilled artisans, I’m excited to offer a beautifully crafted, heirloom-quality leather folio that protects your journal and enhances your everyday planning and journaling ritual.

Made from 100% genuine, premium-quality leather and custom handcrafted by a family-owned leather workshop in Ukraine, each folio is created with skill, care, and a deep leather craftmanship tradition. Each cover is handmade in a shop (never mass-produced.) The result is a folio cover that is durable and functional, feels good to hold, and makes you want to keep coming back to your journal.
